In this chapter, Ruchi begins to talk about the Totoro song, which he heard when he was younger. He says that his family showed the song to him in the movies, but that it scared him a little. He tells Ruchi that he and his friend took the knife and chopped up akira into little pieces. They then popped him up at the joints with the knife, and he was shocked to see that the sky was red with blood. He thinks that his body must have known something was wrong, and reacted violently. Ruchi says that he knows that akira is still alive, and that he has to do something to protect him.
