Welcome back to the hub, who welcomes the thirty-fifth night hub. He's dirty, and he's not happy about it. He wants to know what's going on outside. He asks where his sister is, and she says she's been staying over at the police station. She's an unmarried woman, and that's a gross thing to do, he says. He says he wishes she'd change her underwear, but he doesn't think it's that bad a job for the police. He also tells her that midori wants to be a detective because she was the one who found him when he was very young. She was afraid of a stranger, but couldn't get away because of her dad's presence. Midori wanted to help her, she says, because she wanted to protect her sister. She says she wants to help because she'll be able to do so next time something happens to her. The hub says he can't understand why she joined the police, since there are no criminals in her family. He tells her to be careful, because there are criminals in the family. She cries, too, and the hub says she shouldn't cry tears on a woman, since crying tears is a good thing.
