The next day, ryu asks if he can go to Harada with him. He says he's not going, but ryu tells him that he'll have to go anyway. He tells ryu that if they tried to arrest Tsubaki, she would get a much worse punishment than they would. ryu says that he can't take this anymore, and that's why he doesn't want to go. The next morning, he asks if there's anything else he can do to help. He asks about his cologne. It's too strong, he says, and reminds him that it's been a long time since he last used it. He wants to know why he hasn't been doing anything, and ryu points out that they're going to have to wait a week or so before they can do anything. He's surprised that they haven't told anyone about Harada's injury, and wonders why the telephone guy would do such a thing to them.
