On the nineteenth night of Haruki's banishment, haru tells his companions that he will follow them because he loves them. He tells them that he does not care how evil the crime is, or how wrong it is. He does not want to kill anyone, because he is in love with them. Haruki reminds them that ryu was afraid of the same thing, and that they are all guilty of the crime. He says that he cannot make them all do the crime, but that he can protect them if he does so. He asks them if they will kill anyone if he tells them to do so, and they assure him that they will do so. They also tell him that if he says he is turning himself in, he will turn himself in with them, and Haruki says that this is the first time he has been alone since they killed his father.
