The next morning, Tsubaki asks shintaro what he's been up to. When he says that he hasn't been up all night, the young man says that it's because he was out all night and didn't have time to sleep. He's not sure what's going on, but he does know that he'd better get some sleep, because he looks terrible. The young man thanks him for his kindness, and they head off to get some fresh air.
