The next morning, the Prefectural Prefectural Junior High School president tells the school council that the summer session has been extended to the following week. The Prefectural Council President informs the other members of the council that he will be meeting at the bridge at 6 o'clock that evening to discuss the matter. He informs them that he has heard rumors that there may be opposition to the extension, but that he cannot move the body because it is two kilometers north of the bridge.
