The next morning, the four friends come to the police station to tell them that one of them has fallen off a cliff. They want to confess their crime and tell the police about the phone guy. The four friends want to turn themselves in and confess everything, but they want to be arrested for the crime they committed five years ago. They feel that they've done nothing wrong, and they don't even want to admit that they committed the crime. They're still bitter about the whole thing.
