The next morning, Haruka wakes up to find that his boss has called again. This time, he wants to know why Haruka is wearing a mask. Haruka tells him that he's in charge of a case and that he doesn't want to live in the country anymore. He also tells Haruka that his brain is taking a "day off" , which means that he can't "stand my awful boss" . But Haruka says that's not the case. He's worried about his sister, who's been spying on him. He says he'll do his best to track down the police and find out what's going on with Haruka's sister. But first, he says, he'd like to protect the peace in the apartment, which he hasn't done in five years. He tells them that the boss wants them to do another body, but they don't know what to do. He gives them a reward for the skull, but he also says that they'll have to call in progress to get the reward.
