Mingling tries to get Jiming to tell him the truth about the siege of the city. He tells him that if the siege is complete, all the residents of the capital will be killed. Jiming says that it's a pity that he's always a sinner. Mingling says that he still hasn't fully recovered from the effects of the phoenix, and that he doesn't have the power to use his spiritual power now. He asks Jiming why he came back to the city, and Jiming replies that he just wants to tell a story to Mingling's highness.
