This chapter's epigraph comes from a conversation between the ji family and the feiyu. The ji family wants to use their spiritual power to destroy the sceptre, but the fangyu want to use it to destroy their own family. The snatches of the phoenix are so powerful that they are able to freeze the feeling of the yin and the yang.
