This chapter opens with the phoenix wings shuling in the air. It's been a long time since we've seen the phoenix, and now it's time for us to find out who owns it. The xia family has captured the phoenix as well, and we learn that the phoenix's owner is a man named Yu-Yun, who has been with the monster since the beginning of time. The two of them hide in the shadows and wait for the xias to tell them where they're supposed to be. They're about to head back to the mountain when Yu-Yuun wakes up and tells them that he's going to kill them.
