In this chapter, Ming-ling explains that he wants to get the shadow sword back so that he can use it more effectively against the demon-king. He wants to do so because he needs to improve his own fighting skills. He also wants to know what happened between him and Ling-ling, but he doesn't have the memory to remember what happened.
