About This Chapter
Suyitong tells the gang that he wants them all to die for him. He wants them to die so that he can cultivate his soul and return to his world as a "ghost cultivator" . He says that once he becomes a ghost cultivator, he cannot get into reincarnation, but he just wants to live as a normal person. They draw a ghost-lantern and infuse some of their "divine spirits" into it, which can help him cultivate. They say that this is the "zither" left by their master, and that if they fail to cultivate their soul, they must return it back to him. They also say that they also have to return the "divine spirit" of their master to him, if he fails to cultivate his "soul." They are so grateful that they can't believe how long they've been lying in the earth.
