It's been a while since we last saw Lin-an, but he's back. He's in the middle of a conversation with his master, who's talking about a new phoenix that's about to be adopted by the Pandaren family. He wants to know what's going on with the baby, so he asks his master if he'd like to name the kid after the new phoenix. The Pandaren's master is all, "Gee, I'd really like to adopt this new chicken phoenix." He also says that his mother's pregnant, and that she's trying to decide whether or not to have the baby. He doesn't know why her mother abandoned him, but it's clear that she was worried about the baby's safety. He tells his master that he can't even play the "zither" , which is a kind of sword, because he can only see the master, not the other way around. He wonders if he has been dreaming about a lot of corpses and broken swords, and if he got into something. He says he'll ask his master to check on him when he gets back.
