About This Chapter
The chapter opens with Jim's speech in which he tells the audience that he has come to rescue the citizens of Lin'an. He tells them that he is a disciple of Snowdrift, and that he will punish them when they return to the villa. Jim asks if he was involved in the hunt for the phoenix in Sanqing mountain. Jim says he has no idea what he is talking about, but that he was testing him. He says that he once said that someone else was revealing the identity of Yu Ge as a phoenix. Yu Ge's father was also a part of the hunt, but he took the phoenix from his family. Jim tells him that he still has other things to deal with, so he will not let Yu Ge go. Jim offers to take Yu Ge and his family to his farm in Jiading city, where they can stay for the night.
