The chapter opens with a flashback to Yu Yu's meeting with the monster lord. Yu Yu is now in charge of the household, and he and his wife have been invited to the monster's house to help him prepare for the upcoming battle. Yu tells his wife that she should not have asked him to help her husband prepare for battle, as he has asked her to do so before. Yu also tells her that she is now inseparable from the monster, and that the two of them are so close that Yu is able to crush the monster with one finger. He tells Yu Yu that the sword that Yu gave him is the most powerful sword in the world, because it can be transformed into fallen petals and stored in its owner's body. The sword is said to have been given to Yu by the fairy, and now it is nowhere to be seen. Yu says that he will bring Yu Yu pastries when he returns, and Yu Yu tells him that she will bring him some pastries when she returns. He says that this is the first time he has been able to take advantage of her.
