About This Chapter
The chapter opens with the owner of a silk store buying a high-quality bloodstone from a jewelry shop. The owner of the shop is very fond of the bloodstone, which he thinks is worth a fortune. When the owner, yan jiu, doesn't say anything, the jade falls out of his hand and smashes into a stone. The jade wrenched away at our hearts. We learn that the owner and the shop owner are planning to do something very big tonight. They heard about the lady fox and decided to tease her when they heard of her. He was nicknamed "Spicyjiang" because of his evil practice of cultivating the blood stone with living creatures. The bloodstone was so valuable that they moved their shop every few months. The wearer would get sick or even die from the resentment of a fox. This wasn't the concern of spicyjiang or the bald man. The bald man dug out the blood from the dead fox's neck and sold it as a bloodstone. The store owner says that they can take out the stones soon. More than a dozen dead foxes were buried in the courtyard. They were struggling with the stones, and they couldn't even breathe even if they wanted to.
