About This Chapter
This chapter opens with a description of a patient named Xiejun, who was cured of the nightmare after hypnosis treatment. The patient, who goes by the name xiajun, visits the psychologist's counseling room a month later, but he does not come for counseling. A few days later, another patient named tiansheng comes to visit the psychologist, bringing home native products from his home town. The psychologist tells the story of the man who found a pot in the woods that looked like it belonged to a human. The man told the psychologist that it would not be a ghost, but rather a human who was living in the shack. The villagers were impressed by the sight of the pot, and the psychologist advises them not to be afraid of the ghost, as humans can generate "a kind of power" when faced with fear.
