In this chapter, we learn that the protagonist is a second-year student at the university. He and his other roommate, zhao gang, have been living together for a while, but they are not in a good relationship. One night, they are drinking, and the protagonist does not want to drink because he feels embarrassed. When he does drink, however, he is overcome with nausea and vomits. The protagonist grabs a few hundred yuan bills and puts them in his pocket. He hopes that his friends and his readers will be able to avoid such bad habits.
