About This Chapter
In this chapter, the narrator tells us about his friend, dabin, who works as a driver for a construction company. One day, he and his friend go to a fast food restaurant to pick up some food for one of their friends. When they arrive at the restaurant, they find a long line of customers waiting for their favorite beef buns. The owner of the restaurant tells his friend that an old man who knows the location of fortune tellers is in the restaurant. When the owner realizes that the old man is telling him about his own death, he whispers to the man that he should be careful about cutting in the line at the fast-food restaurant. The old man whispers that he is a fortune-teller and that he can tell the narrator's death. The narrator is shocked and asks the man if he really can tell his death, but the man tells him that he does not know. The two men continue to drive on the highway when they come to a stop in front of a big truck. The driver of the truck stops suddenly, and the narrator can only remember a violent collision between the two big trucks.
