The goblins are trying to find their helper, but they can't find him. When they finally do find him, he's drenched in sweat. He's thinking about how they've been fighting for years without any help from anyone. He starts to feel dizzy. It's been a long time since the two of them joined forces. Then he falls to the ground, feeling like there's a "ball of fire" in his body. He wakes up and wonders if they'd beaten the ghosts. He also wonders if he'd been able to thank them instead of Miss Meung, who's in the air with them. She's so cute, he thinks, that she should be like the fairy in the picture. He wonders how she could have turned her down. The chapter ends with an account of how the ghost market has been eliminated.
