The next morning, Deyan Laojiu sneaks into the backyard to pick up some chicken droppings. He's so lazy that he doesn't even notice that he's been caught by the chicken's owner. Deyan tries to stay cool, but the owner's dog bites him. The dog pees on the chicken leg, and Deyan realizes that the owner is out to get him. He tries to laugh it off, but it's too hilarious. The fight begins. The owner throws away the herb, the supper, and even the medicine. The old man didn't care that the young man gave him fake medicine, and he'll take his hat off to him if he wins the case. The young man blames himself for not taking the old man seriously. He tells the old guy that the herb is in his house, and that he can search it for any evidence of the crime.
