He decides to kill the prince in order to silence him. The young prince asks the wizard if he is the prince who entered his tower. The wizard tells him that it is he who killed the prince, and asks the young prince to come live with him. He promises to give the prince ten thousand gold coins. This time, he plans to eat the radish instead of the lettuce.
