The teacher of class 2, Mr. Yang, suddenly goes into hibernation. The teacher introduces himself as "the deedee deer" . He tells the students that he is their substitute teacher and that he has prepared many stress relieving books for them. He says that he feels sorry for Mr. Yixu, who has not been able to take the exam questions. He blames himself for her inability to do the exams. He explains that he failed at teaching her and that she had to suffer because of it. Question time is over, and the teacher is hungry. She says that she is a "ruminant animal" , so she does not need to eat at the cafeteria. She complains that her lunch is in her stomach and grumbles that she has forgotten to bring her lunch. She worries that it gets dark later in the winter, and she has prepared protective clothing for the students to wear on their way home.
