Bettie flies's birthday is coming up, and she needs to confess her feelings to Roxane. Bettie asks Roxane to meet her after school so that they can have a bite to eat together. She tells Roxane that she has already asked Roxane out for her, and that she is sure that she will not lose this time. Roxane is shocked that Bettie is so useless at confessing to someone. She wonders if she is only capable of half-hearted things like stalking. She says that she would spit out her heart if she had to confess to someone, and if anything went wrong, she would send the person to heaven. She feels light-headed, and her tongue is tied. She asks why she was admitted to the hospital, and Roxane says she bit her tongue when she was too nervous to confess. She knows that she won't be able to face the fight head-on, because she knows she will lose for sure. She is happy to see Bettie fly, and says that as long as she gets to chill with everyone like she is now, everything is fine.
