In this chapter, we are introduced to a butterfly princess, who lives outside the palace. On her 15 th birthday, she is given permission to go to the garden of the royal palace and meet the prince who lives there. She falls in love with him at first sight and goes to the wizard to get a potion that will turn her into human. The potion has a side effect, however, and every step she takes feels like she is walking on knives, which makes her want to run away from the prince. Finally, the prince comes to visit her in the town and takes pity on her. She is imprisoned, and the prince is about to get married. The prince is trying out his wedding cake, and if the prince gets married to someone else, he will die. If the prince wants to live, he can kill the prince, but if he wants to die, he has no choice. The butterfly princess tells the prince that she is actually a human, and that she fell in love at the first sight with him. She wants to be with him until the very end, but she knows that he is getting married, so she offers him the wedding cake. In the end, the butterfly princess changes back into a human and lives happily ever after
