In this chapter, we meet a young girl named Bettie fly, who is obsessed with maintaining her perfect image at school. She's also obsessed with the fact that she doesn't go to school every day, and that she's never taken off her mask. We learn that she has a crush on a classmate named Ren, whom she calls "pudding" . We also learn that he's a huge fan of love, which is why he chews up all of her drawings when they're finished. Ren's like, "Dude, you've got to tell me what's wrong with my drawings!" .
