The narrator tells us that he's one sticker short of the prize of a year's supply of nuts. He's bummed that he won't have the chance to win the prize this year, but he also wants to meet the guy who's collecting the stickers for the prizes. He wants to know why he hasn't met the guy before, but the narrator doesn't know how to ask for the stickers, so he just pretends like nothing happened. The narrator then tells us about the night owls at school, who are supposed to tell scary stories at night so that you can summon the ghosts of your classmates. He says that's a good idea, but that he has to try it out himself.
