About This Chapter
Spring is upon us. It's the season for hundreds of flowers, a bear shedding its skin, and a cat. The narrator is the only human in the school and he wants to see a picture of his girlfriend. She looks exactly like the narrator. He tells his friend, the elephant, to come and look at the picture. Unfortunately, the panels on the wall are too small to see the entire picture. The two of them get along quite well, but the narrator is worried that some of his classmates are too timid to hang out with animals. He decides to try and get along with some of the animals that are naturally friendly with humans.
