About This Chapter
The next day, the only road through the mountains will be this one. They'll be moving by this time. Chairman Ming says he's sorry about what happened in the past, but he hopes they're not going to do it again. He tells the men that they can come anytime they want to exact revenge in the future. Captain Blood Skull says he hopes there won't be any more conflict. He also says that his brother's martial spirit is stronger than before. Everyone calms down, and he tells them about his plan. He's heard rumors that a mysterious man has come to the area and seized control of 28 camps. The plan is to use the light cavalry as a buffer, while the rest of the army will be manned by the mercenary corps. The light cavalry and the archers are the weakest link in the chain of command, and they'll need to be taken care of. Captain Ming says that he hopes this will be a fruitful partnership. He asks Ming to find some men to chop down some trees in the mountains so that the next day they can get to their destination.
