The chapter ends with a farewell speech by the elf queen. The elf queen expresses her gratitude for the kindness shown to her clan by the other elf lords. She says that the life of the clan in the forest is peaceful, but that a lot of the outlaws recently entered the land and captured many of the elves. She tells the elf lords that she is unable to find her daughter, who has been arrested. The other elves say that they cannot find their own people and that they must seek help from the outside. They say that the best thing to do would be to let the other elves handle the situation. The elves are not strong enough to fight back against the outside forces, and the only way they can do so is to seek help.
