About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that the sky-wind sword sect is led by a fat, shaven old man named Fat Shou. The old man is the father of a young girl, Miss yue . He has come to fetch his daughter, who has grown up and is now a member of a clan called the Sky-Wind Swordsmen. The fat Shou tells the old man that he has left the sword to his son-in-law, dai, and that dai has never done anything wrong with the sword. He also tells dai that he will take him home with him. Worried that his son is going to use the sword against innocent people, the father tells him that the sword was left to dai by his junior brother. The father tells his son that he does not think dai is strong enough to protect the sword if he encounters a real villain. He says that the holy church will keep the sword in case dai does not have the strength to protect it. Ignoring his father's advice, the young man tells the father to let him handle the situation himself. He tells his father that if the sword is taken from him because of his incompetency, he will not be able to face his uncle after death. Believing that his father is strong, he tells him to use his full strength to defend himself against the attack.
