In this chapter, we learn that the siblings are on their way to find out about the disappearance of their father, a mountain man named xiang li. The brothers decide to follow xiang's lead and go to the factory where xiang is supposed to be working, but they are interrupted by their sister, who wants to know where they are going. They decide to go by car since they do not have the brothers' speed.
