In this chapter, we learn that the siblings have returned to the mountains, and that they are looking for their sister, who has fallen into a "dream" and is now talking to herself. The brothers try to figure out what is going on, but they can't find her. They have to go and find the woman with the ribbon and the man with the red cheeks, and stop them from gathering a bunch of "curiously spirits" before they gather at the athletics fields. They also have to stop the two "troublemakers" from gathering too many "cursed spirits" because they are gathering at the athletic fields before everyone else does. They've got to stop them all before everyone gathers, because "they're there" , and they're all "so scared" . They don't understand why the music is making them feel so bad, but it's because they've been "unconsciously affected" by the music. They finally realize that they have to get rid of the troublemakers before they become like this again.
