In this chapter, we learn that a family of four has adopted a demon as a brother and sister, and that they have agreed to a treaty that will allow them to live together. The siblings agree to sign the treaty, and the demon asks that his name be added to the list of names that will be designated as belonging to the "demon dwelling" . He tells his father that he needs to be taken care of in the future, and asks that he be allowed to return to the mountain to recuperate.
