Back on the road, Alen laments the fact that his father has been killed by a "beast hunting gun" . He's glad that he's learned so much, and that he can say goodbye to his father. Gerald, one of the officers in the elite "Coup de Grace" squad, tells Alen that they're still in the war, and they still have a lot of work to do. They need to figure out a way to dispose of the "incarnates" in the north. They're also going to have to alter the war so that the public doesn't think of them as evil incarnates.
