The next morning, the incarnate tells Selia that he's going to kill the rest of the soldiers in his platoon. He tells her that the shape of a new nation has already been drawn up, and that she'll have to kill all of them before that happens. She's already done that, and she's done it before. The incarnate says that he and Selia will die together, and then everyone will be gone.
