In the midst of the bamboo forest, Gu points out that he can enjoy himself there. He tells his father that he has returned from the demon realm. Gu tells him that his master is preparing to give a banquet, and that he will need to rest for a few days. Gu says that he wants to know what the heaven itself looks like, and what about Gu's brother. He says that if they do not come, he will go for them. He also tells Gu to cure his body and eyes, and then go ahead and fight with the Heaven itself. He explains that he is preparing for "dual cultivation" , in which he can restore the Heaven's meridians and spirit. If there are still things in the world, he can use them to restore the Master's spirit. He warns his father to be careful, however, because things can go wrong.
