In this chapter, the monster tells the Panda bear that he will return to his human form when he regains his strength. He tells the boy to stop biting him and to stop being so cruel to him. He also tells him to stop using his sword to kill animals. The boy agrees to eat with the monster. The monster tells him that he is too young to eat fish, but the boy says that he does not want to go back to his old form.
