The ghost says that he knows jing hasn't disobeyed him before, because he's always done everything the ghost says. He says that li zhu made a sacrifice before, and jing didn't want to hurt him again, so he sent him into the underworld and secretly joined him through reincarnation. jing asks the ghost why they don't run after the ghost, and the ghost replies that it's dangerous for them to do so, since they haven't done so before. He also says that they shouldn't be talking about love, since jing is telling the truth. He adds that if the ghost gives up his powers of heaven, jing will let him go voluntarily. He wants to know what's up with jiuchen's contract with the emperor, because the emperor just pushed him to the ground.
