In this chapter, the monster explains that he has no spirit energy and that he must wait for the right moment to release his power. He says that he can make wild beasts run away from the forest with a tree branch, but he can't do that because he has to wait until the monster doesn't pay attention to his moves. He also says that the forest is connected only to one side of the island, which means that the monster has to stay put during the night. He thanks the monster for holding him while he was walking through the forest. He tells the monster that he knows it was the monster who tricked him into being his father figure. He asks the monster if he would like another special episode to be about their daily lives.
