The monster tells the cub that he loves him no matter what form he is in. They have promised to get married and have many children when the demon's bloodline is awakened. The monster says that he is too young to do dual-cultivation with the cub. He says that there is a demon hiding underneath the cub's body that needs time to awaken. The demon says that if the cub leaves now, he will not sleep or take medicine. The cub says he wants to look more handsome like the monster, but he still needs to keep his distance from him. He wants to wander around with the beast. The beast says he sacrificed his life to protect the beast, and he says that now that the beast is free, he never had the chance to look at it. He asks the cub why he didn't go back to his old form with the fishtail. He thinks that the cub is supposed to do what he is told to do, but after the cub heals himself, he cannot even change back into human form
