He says that he doesn't expect the city to be as prosperous as it is, but he does expect it to be a place full of "demons" and "blood scorpions." The narrator says he'll go outside and have a "skirp of demon rats" , which is basically a skewer of blood scorpions. He also says that his wine is "sweeter" than first love. He toasts his love with his wine, and then says that the "dragons" have passed by. The narrator wants to go check out the dancing foxes, but the narrator can't stand the sight of them. He wonders if it's the demon who wants to "run away" from the city.
