The next morning, the monk tells the others that he has no reason to stay and that he will leave immediately. He tells them to help him pack up his things. He also tells them that he is going to visit the peak of the mountain, which is the closest place to the tianyu sect headquarters. He gives them a list of the items that are stored in the pouches, which include flaming cloud ice, a heart-protecting core, a golden demon armor, returning jade, a prajna orchid, a void celestial potion, a scorpion king-eye, an ice worm silk, a silver soul fruit, and a shark emperor blood. The monk asks why he is giving him so much money, and the monk replies that he does not want to be indebted to anyone, and he will not spend a cent of his money. He asks the monk not to try and fool him with his puppy-dog eyes, and tells him to follow the monk to the peak. He then tells the monk that the peak is full of spirit aura, and that it is a perfect place for cultivation and training. It is also full of celestial snow lotus, which can extend one's life, improve vision, and retain youthful vigor. He adds that the monk is trespassing upon their leader's property, and they should make some tea out of the lotus flowers. He says that the sect is finished, and all of their property will be confiscated. He calls the monk a disgrace, and says that if he wants them to yield, he will have to kill them.
