The narrator decides to study and ask lots of questions about his job. He wants to learn how to make a work order, and he decides to start by making an introduction to the apparel plate in excel. He also decides to ask his mother some questions. She tells him that it's too heavy for him to carry a banner for the 20km walk to the red-light district, so he should just use the water from the well. He asks her if she wants to try wearing jellyfish dresses, and she says that she never wants to wear them. He tells her that he's going to go to talk to the other workers about the protest, but she says she's sorry, she has no idea why they're doing it. He says he'll protest for "democ racy" , which is a fancy way of saying "redevelopment" . She says she used to go shopping with a rich man who was married to an open lady in a neighbor's house, but he was too advanced for her. She asks him if there's anything she can do to cheer up the women when they feel blue, and when he says that he doesn't have any, she asks him to stop. She then tells him to go buy them some straw berries, which she says they need to do something about.
