About This Chapter
The chapter opens with a description of a jellyfish, which the narrator describes as "kneeling on my arm" . The narrator explains that the jellyfish is a part of a plan to build a hotel in the area. He says that the company believes that they will be able to build the hotel in a year's time. The jellyfish, however, is not part of the plan. Instead, the narrator explains, it is merely a metaphor for the way in which the company plans to live. He tells the reader that he will eat the jellyfish as soon as he is finished with them. He explains that he has to get a pannier to cover the jellyfish's skin, because the company's bros are away at work. He also tells the audience that he is in the middle of a conversation with a "sexy land shark" , but he cannot comment on the subject because he is under orders from the prime minister.
