The narrator tells us that he wishes he were a girl. He says that his father wanted to take him away from him because he was a boy, and that he wanted to be a politician. He also says that ten years ago, his father bought him some fresh melon bread. The narrator asks why he ate the clam ramen, and the narrator says that it was one of two reasons for eating it. The other reason is that he wants to go back and get the keys to the car. He asks if he can put him in the hives for food, and hanamori san says that they give them vaccin, which is a kind of medicine to treat the hives. He tells the narrator to lie down and rest, because if he does, he'll die. He then tells him to tell the maids to come and get him. The maids come and tell him that he's all right, and they'll give him three hours for the price of one. He wants to eat something sweet, so they make him some imitation pearls. He falls asleep, and when he wakes up, he wonders if he could have stayed with the maids, and if they could have made him a jelly fish. He begs them to make him a purple jelly, which they do, and then they run off to explore the mansion.
