In this chapter, we learn that Mr. Smith has come to see what happens when leo loses interest in a woman. He tells Miss Green that he is here to see if leo is losing interest in her. Miss Green tells him that it is because of her that leo has lost his mind for her. She tells him to go and get help at the hospital first, and then she tells him not to pester him anymore, because she is going to start a new career in the entertainment business. She says that a company from another part of the world has contacted her and hopes to help her with her new job. She asks Miss Green if she can help her check out the identity of leo, and she tells her that if she does, she will be able to tell him who he is. She then asks her to go with her to a business trip in three days, and if he knows that she is on such a trip, he would be angry and would tell her who she was. She promises that she will see her at the airport the next morning, and tells her to think about what will happen if she and leo go on a trip together.
