The scene opens with a conversation between a young man and his boss. The young man asks the boss what kind of "charm" he has. The boss tells him that his girlfriend has asked him to find out more about adam. He tells the young man that he did not tell her anything and that he has sent some people to guard her. He also tells the boss that he is on the set of a new art film and that his friend amanda is interested in the project. The girl asks him to recommend amanda to the director, Mr. Smith. The director says that he does not think that amanda will be able to play such a supporting role in the film. He adds that he used to play the supporting roles in his films and that this will not work in the new one. He asks if amanda has changed her mind about the project and the boss tells her that she can talk to him alone. He says that it has changed a lot since they last saw each other. He apologizes to her and tells her not to feel guilty.
