The scene opens with a conversation between Emily and Green. Emily tells Green that she has just been fired from her job. She tells him that she and Green have broken up and that he should not be afraid of her. He tells her that she is his fiancee and that they are like protagonists in an idol play. He then tells her to stop eating snacks and to eat lunch first. He says that he cannot eat like this because he is so thin. He asks her to give him back the chips he gave her and she says that she does not want to eat like that because she is thin. She says that the brain did not promise to break up his engagement with her and that she cannot marry him now that he has broken his engagement to her. She then tells him to be kind and gentle to her and not to be cruel to her as she is protecting herself and she is not one of those men that he says she is. She asks him to teach her how to moderate her charm and he agrees to do so.
